Impact of communities of value on growth of information technology

Communities of value may be defined as huge networks between individuals bearing similar interest in value. It is often used about and within groupings in which customers, consumers, and concerned stakeholders are dynamically networking with each other about a given product, service, or brand. Organizations which still adore ancient ways of doing business loathe hearing that individuals are sharing information within themselves. Such firms prefer ‘talking’ more than online communication.Basically, organizations that enjoy fooling consumers will attempt to sabotage and drain any attempt of sharing information within a given socio-economic community of value. It is certain that such companies have to change and embrace information technology fully otherwise they have no option other than to close doors. There are various communities of value. Examples of these communities include; eBay, Napster, Linux, PHP, MySQL, Amazon, Double-Click, Akamai among others. Such communities form by themselves and are found all over the world, wherever online forums are available and regardless of whether concerned companies participate or not.Impact on growth of information technology Communities of value rely on advanced technology. This calls for overhaul of entire information technology. As the communities of value grow both in nature and complexity IT capability is also stretched. Thus need for growth in this industry. Various communities of value need diverse IT options. To tap the collective knowledge of entire network and address common interest of members of these communities calls for innovation in the IT industry. For example, just the other day Web 2. 0 technology developed options that allowed members to connect in ways that were not possible before.Various groups with common interest and value are able to join networks and get involved depending on favored interest. Through advanced IT organizations are able to harness collective value of consumers thus e nhancing customer relationship. In conclusion, communities of value keep on increasing and extending across socio-economic boundaries. Growth of these communities brings in technological demands which can only be addressed through reengineering IT industry. Pressure from communities of value leaves the IT field with one option-dynamic growth.

Hamlet by William Shakespeare Essay

Hamlet is a story by William Shakespeare written in 1599. This story is about Prince Hamlet’s struggles after his father’s death. Hamlet seeks revenge from his uncle for his father’s death. His uncle, Claudius sees Hamlet as a threat to his power, so he attempts to get rid of him. Unfortunately, his plan backfires, and the whole royal family dies, including Hamlet. An animated children’s Disney movie, The Lion King created in 1994, reflects Hamlet. The Lion King starts with a lion cub, Simba, who is learning the responsibilities of a king. Scar, Simba’s uncle has the desire to become the king. In order, to fulfill his dream, Scar kills king Mufasa and blames Simba. Scared and guilty Simba runs away, but returns soon after to take over his responsibility and become king. The Lion King is like a reproduction of the play Hamlet. The stories are similar and different in many ways. Here I have listed a few of many. The Hamlet and The Lion King have a lot in similar. In both of the stories, the uncle is the villain who seeks power. Simba and Hamlet both lose their fathers to what they believe is an unfortunate accident. Both of the main characters seek revenge for their father’s death and eventually kill their uncles. They are both from a royal family and the rightful heir to the throne. The characters are very similar and so is the plot. The queens, Sarabi and Gertrude have little to no power in the kingdom. Scar and Claudius are portrayed as cold and evil. Simba and Hamlet are presented as thoughtful, intelligent and emotional. Although the stories are known to have similarities, they have a lot of differences too. The most prominent difference is that Hamlet dies at the end of Hamlet, whereas the Lion King has a happy ending. Simba marries Nala and has a baby. In the Lion King, Simba is framed for Mufasa’s death so he chooses to run away, however, in Hamlet, Claudius orders Hamlet to go to England. Claudius rules pretty well, he does not ruin the kingdom like Scar. After his father’s death, Simba lives a carefree life for some years, whereas Hamlet is depressed, and on the verge of madness. Also, in Hamlet Polonius is Ophelia’s father, however in the Lion King, Zazu is not related to Nala. The differences are what make the stories unique. Disney recreated Shakespeare’s Hamlet into an animated children’s movie to make it suitable for children. They could have copied all of it, but then kids would not have liked it. The language of Hamlet is difficult to understand, whereas the Lion King uses modern words. Lion King creators did not kill Simba in the end because kids like to see happy endings. Movies created for kids should not be depressing. They put a family feeling in the movie, so more people would watch it and they would make more profit. The Lion King had a moral, like other Disney movies. Here the moral was, you have to learn to step up and keep moving forward, instead of running from your past. In my opinion, both of the stories were quite entertaining and well thought of. Disney did a great job with changing the story. They kept the major similarities but changed Shakespeare’s work into their own words. Hamlet’s tragic ending and The Lion King’s delightful ending make them remarkable. They are stories worth knowing.

Personal Statement Example He had perfect relationship with his customers, servants and his friends. He used to vanish to the back of the shop in the afternoon for a meal, and would come back in sharp fifteen minutes. He was extremely punctual with his schedule and was rarely absent from the shop. By the time I was a teenager, his business had flourished and expanded to different parts of the city. His qualities of determination, sincerity, integrity and humble way of dealing with people had contributed in success of his social, professional and personal life. I was in awe of this person. He was a ‘Jackie Chan’ for me. All his qualities shaped my passion for business as I realized that success in business not only need intelligence but also need leadership qualities, and drive to bring together people and motivate them to work towards a single goal. This is where my journey towards achieving specialization in business began. My observation had taught me that success in business is possible only when a person has people skills. This lesson made me to learn different skills and work in team environment. I took every opportunity that provided me with an experience of working in new fields and handling new responsibilities. My experience as teaching assistant with ‘God Gifted Art Group’ taught me a lot about people from disadvantageous psychological condition. Helping autistic children, planning activities for them, and researching and planning marketing for the Group needed not only creativity, fresh perspective and maturity, but also a lot of patience. This experience taught me that world is full of people who are different than you in many respects. It also taught me how to deal with people from different social, cultural and educational backgrounds. Evaluate a significant experience, achievement, risk you have taken, Essay - 2

Evaluate a significant experience, achievement, risk you have taken, or ethical dilemma you have faced and its impact on you. (250words minimum) - Essay Example But for me, something else was planned by destiny. For me, this day is the most memorable yet painful day of my entire life. On that day, I had a baseball game in the afternoon. The weather was strange. It was a bright sunny day yet excessively windy. I was not sure of catching a fly ball well in this weird climatic condition. During warm-ups, baseball coach gave me a fly ball and I thought that I would able to catch that ball with my gloves. But before I realize what had happened with me, I found that I was bleeding unceasingly. Then I realized that four of my bloody teeth were in my hand. I could also feel that couple of teeth were hanging by my braces inside the mouth. I could not believe that this accident actually has happened to me. Suddenly, many thoughts came in my mind including tomorrow’s SAT test, finals, graduation, family, friends, pain, teeth, and many other things. In fact, I truly felt that everything was over, and I cried loudly. I was not ready to accept the truth. I did not understand why I had to be punished so badly. As I moved into training center, everyone was staring with the sense of sympathy. I was crying like a small kid in front of my friends who were encouraging me. I was terrified when I realized that my parents were staying thousands miles away from my place. My advisor and baseball coach took me to the hospital. We could not find an oral surgeon anywhere in New Hampshire and the doctor in Plymouth memorial hospital tried to make phone calls for hours. I was bleeding for almost 11 hours until I met an oral surgeon in Mass General hospital in Boston. I was exhausted, yet was happy to get operated. When I returned to school, I understood that eating food would be a problem. The days were miserable. I always had fever and pain. I was not able to sleep well and was far behind of schoolwork. Additionally, I had to go to emergency

NEW ECONOMIC POWERS Assignment Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 250 words

NEW ECONOMIC POWERS - Assignment Example These are some of the most sought after names in the business world, and since their populations are dense, they are able to come ahead with little ease as a great amount of cheap labor is available - this allows China, India and Brazil to depict success. Export orientation definitely depends on a nation’s stage of development since it suggests the kind of imports coming in and exports going out of its shores (Sibanda, 2011). However, this requires a great amount of persistence and effort by the governments of these countries because they are the ones who decide the relevant course of action that has to be adopted within these lands. In essence, these countries are doing all that they can to make sure that their economic progress comes about in an easy manner, without much difficulty (Quer, 2010). Export orientation is inherently a powerful approach because it sets the ball rolling for bringing an upheaval within the economic settings and allows the people to understand that t hey must connect globally rather than remaining locally

Music industry and peer-2-peer download Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 2750 words

Music industry and peer-2-peer download - Essay Example In addition, it was a PR disaster as most of the lawsuits covered by the media consisted of teenagers and schoolchildren. Meanwhile, the decline of music sales continued unabated as, compared to 2003 when 656 million albums were sold worldwide, sales fell to 250 million in 2012. PR campaigns were touted as the best way to reach more music consumers by communicating the fact that their actions were illegal and hurt the musicians. Although Yar (2008: p46) states that litigation did have an effect in raising awareness among music consumers about the illegal nature of P2P platforms, new methods like PR campaigns are now available and have a better chance at success. This paper will consider three PR campaign frames; structural, symbolic, and political, as used in Pro Music, Music Matters, and SoundByting PR campaigns, as well as their target audiences and their intended effects on the music consumer. The pro-music campaign is a coalition of music industry organizations and individuals, who form an alliance of music retailers, independent and major record companies, artists, managers, performers, and musicians (Baym, 2010: p178). This coalition operates in several countries, including the UK, and seeks to promote an array of ways that music consumers can enjoy music legitimately and safely over the internet. In the UK, it has partnered with ISPA UK to promote community relations that seek to educate the music consumer about the consequences of breaching corporate law when downloading music over P2P file sharing networks. This campaign addresses various issues about online download of content, while also advising consumers about available and legal online music content. The main targets for this campaign are parents, teachers, and young people, seeking to raise awareness about music content-related issues on the internet. The main backer and financier of this PR campaign is the In ternational Federation of Musicians, of which the UK chapter

Character analysis of Werther in Johann Wolfgang von Goethe's The Essay

Character analysis of Werther in Johann Wolfgang von Goethe's The Sorrows of Young Werther - Essay Example O'Rourke sings the witches' chant double, double toil and trouble'' on the soundtrack. The film is a bloody and brutal big-screen adaptation f Shakespeare's tragedy, with a lank-haired Sam Worthington in the title role and Victoria Hill as Lady Macbeth. Other key players include Lachy Hulme as Macduff, Steve Bastoni as Banquo and Gary Sweet as Duncan. If there is a bad boy among Australian feature film directors, Wright would be in the running for the title. There are certain things I can act on and I can surprise people with the speed f the action,'' he says. I get passionate about some things and it has got me into trouble.''He was fired three days before shooting was due to start on Supernova in 1999, for example. If that had not happened, the big-budget science fiction film would have been his first for Hollywood. The way Wright tells it, he had planned from the outset to have the characters floating as if they were in zero gravity. But the studio bosses at United Artists suddenly decided the characters should walk around on the ground in boots as though they were on Star Trek''.People change their minds and get scared,'' ... A couple f years later, an incident at a Film Finance Corporation Australia Christmas party added to Wright's volatile reputation. He and producer Jonathan Shteinman had a disagreement about then FFC chief executive Catriona Hughes and ended up trying to settle the matter outside with fisticuffs. Some regard Wright's behaviour as not nice at all. Others are inspired by his passion. Wright describes Macbeth the man as incredibly corrupt'', but also admires his courage. Macbeth has that blazing, insane, crazy courage that you get when you have committed to something thoroughly rotten and there's no way out so you just keep going ahead with it,'' he says. You get yourself boxed in but you somehow [summon] up the guts to keep going forward. There is something fascinating about that.'' Wright clearly doesn't like himself when he doesn't stand up for what he believes in: We have more and more prosperity in Australia and there is less and less inclination to rock the boat, speak out, make a gesture. That can be frustrating. I fall into the same trap. Maybe there is a level f common sense to it but it also makes me feel a bit sick afterwards.'' Wright's films are as bold as he is. The R-rated Romper Stomper, with its neo-Nazi and racial themes, stormed into cinemas 15 years ago and remains one f the gutsiest films to emerge from Australia. Wright's second film, Metal Skin, a tale f misfit teens with lots f car action that starred Aden Young and Ben Mendelsohn, was made soon after Romper Stomper but failed to have an impact. The teen horror flick Cherry Falls, the one film he eventually made in the US, in 2000, showed adolescents murdered and the word virgin carved on their bodies. Violence, then, is a recurring

US Dropping of Two Atomic Bombs on Japan Research Paper

US Dropping of Two Atomic Bombs on Japan - Research Paper Example The historical event During the final stages of the World War II (WWII), United States of America dropped two atomic bombs on the Nagasaki and Hiroshima. Under the executive order of Harry Truman, the US president, the US dropped Little Boy, a uranium atomic bomb, on the city of Hiroshima, the 7th largest city in Japan. This was on 6th August, 1945. The uranium bomb was so powerful that within minutes half of Hiroshima city vanished. The city was unbelievably destroyed. Out of its 90,000 buildings, more than 60,000 were utterly demolished (Rezelman et al, 2000 and Adamsand Crawford 2000). Information from Harry S. Truman Library & Museum (1946) reveals that as brief as it was, the flash of the explosion emitted intense radiant heat travelling through the air at the speed of light. The explosion was, therefore, followed instantly by flash burns. The US estimates that 60,000-70,000 people were killed and 140,000 others were injured (Rezelman et al, 2000). On 9th August, 1945, three days after the bombing of Hiroshima, Fat Man, next nuclear weapon was dropped in Nagasaki over the north factory. It was exploded at a height of 1,800 feet above the city in order to attain a maximum blast effect. At its blast, buildings collapsed, there was shortages of electric systems and as a result of this, as well as a wave of secondary fires which contributed to massive deaths. Most of the casualties to the inhabitants of the city were caused by primary heat waves. Many others were burnt and killed when their homes, offices or other buildings were burst into flames. Flying debris also contributed to more injuries. 39% of the buildings standing were destroyed. Air was being drawn back to the middle of the burning area, a firestorm of winds immediately followed and because of this, trees were uprooted. The bomb killed 42, 000 people and injure d over 40,000 more (Rezelman et al, 2000 and Adamsand Crawford 2000). The Radiation Effects Research Foundation (2000) estimates that within the 2-4 months after the bombings, 90-000-166,000 people in Hiroshima were killed by acute effects of the blasts, while 60,000-80,000 were killed in Nagasaki but roughly half of the death in each case occurred on the first day. During the two explosions, the causes of deaths were generally the same. Thousands died instantly from flash or flame burns, falling debris and other secondary causes; over the following months others died from acute radiation sickness and other conditions arising from compounded effects of injuries and sicknesses. Most of the people who died were civilians (Harry S. Truman Library & Museum, 1946). Analysis of the historical and contemporary causes of the event On 7th December, 1941, Japan invaded Thailand. It then moved to invade British Malaya and the Pearl Harbor in the US territory of Hawaii. This war was referred to as the Pacific war or the WWII. The war saw the US, China and UK as members of the Allied Powers coming together against the Empire of Japan. The allied power wanted Japan to withdraw from the WWII. On 26th of June 1945, the Harry Truman, the US president, Winston Churchill, the UK Prime Minister and Chian Kai-shek, the chairperson of the Nationalist government of China, issued a document called the Potsdam Declaration. The Potsdam Declaration document which was agreed upon during the Potsdam conference outlined the terms of surrender for Japan. The ultimatum clearly stated that, if Japan did not pull out of the WWII, it would face quick and utter destruction (Villa,

The unlawful business led to the collection of $160 million (ORourke, 2013). The memo aims at stating the critical stakeholders and the concerns that emerge from the case. The meaning of the critical concerns and why the understanding and action being taken matter are the other areas that will be dealt with in the memo. The concerns include understanding the legal requirement, determining how the scandal happened, developing mechanisms for evaluating credit provision and approval, retraining of staff tasked with collecting credit and accepting wrongdoing and take full responsibility. The critical concerns mean that the company has a lot of problems with some of its major stakeholders starting with the government, customers, shareholders, and the general public. The critical concerns matter because depending on the outcome and measures undertaken by the company, a lot of revenue, customers, money, and sales will be lost. The concerns matter also because the reputation of the CEO, management of the company, employees, and board of management is on the line. There are a number of ways that Sears, Roebuck & Company can take in solving the scandal that affected the company in the case. Prosperos Redemption in The Tempest Essay -- The Tempest Essays

Prospero's Redemption in The Tempest "By him I'll be great Emperor of the world" --Marlowe, Faustus Prospero's intent throughout the course of The Tempest is neither to revenge himself upon his enemies, nor to reconcile himself with his estranged brother. It is, rather, to orchestrate the reclamation of his lost duchy, Milan, through both his magic and a shrewd manipulation of both the shipwrecked party and the islanders (Caliban and Miranda). Prospero promotes both the mutual affections of Ferdinand and Miranda and the two regicidal conspiracies (Antonio's and Caliban's). Through the establishment of the graver conspiracy, and through the overwhelmingly magical nature of the island, he drives Alonso into a state of confusion from which any escape would be welcome. He turns Alonso's men against him and separates his son, inciting the paranoia and fear that come with an insecure station, while reminding him of his own fate twelve years prior—proof that such paranoia is not without foundation. Prospero's magic is a display of power, a power which he only foretells renouncing. While in some stage productions Prospero will break a staff or burn a book, the text itself switches from a future tense first person description of the renunciation, in the play, to a past tense description, in the epilogue; the event itself is never enacted. The precise moment at which Prospero destroys his books, however, is irrelevant, as his power lies not so much in them as in Ariel. Ariel is not given freedom until the King's ship "shall catch/ [the] royal fleet far off . . . Ariel . . . that is thy charge" (V.1 315-17). By retaining Ariel after the reconciliation Prospero remains empowered, a necessity in the event that Alonso suffers ... ...rother and open to sibling rivalry and betrayal, the bond of the new Milan is father-to-daughter. By advancing Miranda Prospero does advance himself, in that she is and will produce his legacy, but he also advances her of her own accord, as an act of love. The latter is the more virtuous, closer to the idyllic Milan Prospero would have shared with Antonio and the paradise that Gonzalo proposes to the shipwrecked party. Prospero summons the tempest to effect the calm that will follow, knowing the pieces will settle where he wants them. WORKS CITED: Machiavelli, Niccolà ². The Prince. Robert M. Adams, trans., ed. Remoteness and Loneliness in Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte Essay

Remoteness and Loneliness in Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte Emily Bronte loved nature and spent most of her childhood on the remote Yorkshire Moors near her home in Haworth. Emily found that the Moors were a place of peace and sanctuary where she could retreat to relax and follow one of her most favourite past times, which was writing. However she knew that in a matter of seconds the Moors could change into a wild and savage wilderness. Emily chose this ever-changing setting for her only novel "Wuthering Heights". "Wuthering Heights" tells the tale of two families living in and around the bleak Yorkshire Moors near a small village, very similar to Haworth, called Gimmerton. This setting mirrors the personalities of the savage and brutal characters. These characters live in a remote and weather ravaged working farmhouse called Wuthering Heights. Wuthering Heights acquired it's name due to the, "atmospheric tumult to which its station is exposed in stormy weather" The inhabitants of Wuthering Heights need to be tough to survive and only those characters born in Wuthering Heights are able to survive within it. When Hindley returns from University with his wife Frances she dies rather quickly as she cannot survive the savage weather conditions. We do not expect Hindley to die but as he has been away from Wuthering Heights for so long he also cannot survive. However there are other reasons for his death. When Heathcliff returns from his absence he stays with Hindley, and gets his long awaited revenge by slowly luring Hindley into gambling and alcoholism. This is the main cause of his death. If Wuthering Heights was not set in such an isolated place Heathcliff would not have been able to torture and... ...alanced and would not have been as successful with Victorian audiences. Imagery using nature was not seen or heard of very much in large industrial cities such as London or Liverpool so a novel set in the remote Yorkshire Moors was inevitably going to be interesting for the inhabitants of the city to read. "Wuthering Heights" would be neither realistic nor interesting and would not have the excitement that it is famous for without it‘s setting. It would become boring and average and would not have made such an impact with its new ideas and scandals such as Catherine falling in love with her adoptive brother Heathcliff. However perhaps with a less savage and remote setting the characters would have been happier and most importantly the tragic yet futile love of Catherine and Heathcliff could have continued not only in their deaths but also in their lives.

Essay --

Benjamin Harrison, the 23rd president of the United States, utilized his executive powers more like that of William Howard Taft. President Taft believed in the literalist concept of presidential power, firmly expressing that the president can only exercise power within a strict interpretation of the Constitution of the United States. As a stringent believer of integrity and constitutionality, President Harrison fits Taft’s view. When he was first elected in 1889, Harrison practiced the merit system in choosing cabinet members and officials despite receiving ridicule from his Republican Party members for not abiding with the contemporary patronage system. His use of executive power in his presidency was, with few exceptions, thoroughly constitutional. He would usually ensure that his trust-busting bills, protectionist policies, and domestic policies like the McKinley Tariff and the Sherman Anti-Trust act of 1890 fell under the boundaries of his executive powers and the Constitu tion. He was also demanding in asking for authorizations from Congress for foreign policy approval and, he even respected Congress’s constitutional ability to declare war. For major projects and policies, he depended on the treaty power rather than executive agreement, which can skip legislative power. Growing up in North Bend Ohio as a child, Mr. Benjamin Harrison had a pretty rural upbringing in which he did farm work and studied with private tutors at home. As a young boy, Harrison cherished a sense of order and self-assurance since peers and family closely surrounded him. However, many perceived his confidence as arrogance. During his pre-presidential political days, he gradually developed a stiff and formal personality; making him quite aloof. When he ... ...residential career to the end of it, President Benjamin Harrison interpreted the U.S. constitution with a strict literalist view; believing that following the constitution and its specific clauses almost word for word was the most effective and less stressful way to run the executive branch of government. Though his Taft-like approach did not seem to make him a really notable, Harrison is significantly credited with having done much to America’s foreign policy; moving the nation along the path to world empire than any previous President and serving as a model for the young Theodore Roosevelt and other aspiring presidents to admire and emulate. By playing it safe and not going beyond the interpretation of the constitution, Harrison eluded any controversy of overstepping his bounds, but at the cost of just being known as an average president who rarely took any risks.

Reflections Theory

Reflections theory Introduction In this report I will be comparing two reflective theories, outlining their similarities and differences. I will be choosing the one I believe to be the best in my opinion. This will be the one I will be using in my end of year reflective account. The two reflective theories I will be looking at are, Johns Model of Structured Reflection and Gibbs’s Reflective Cycle. Theories There are two main differences between the two theories. Johns uses a linear structure, with a beginning and an end. However, Gibbs uses a more cyclic structure and has no defined beginning or end. John’s theory is also mainly aimed towards health care and talks about working with patients and their families. Gibbs on the other hand can be aimed more towards students and their experiences. Johns uses the 2 main headings: Looking in and looking out. Under Looking in there are 5 Sub-Headings: Aesthetics, Personal, Ethics, Empirics and Reflexivity. Johns for the most part requires the need to work with a supervisor and as such he calls this a guided reflection. It requires you to write a description of the experience before you begin the reflection, once you have done this it requires you to follow the questions as they come up. One of the advantage of Johns reflective model is that there is a clear Beginning and an end meaning the person looking back on their experience has a clear outline on where to begin and the process used in the reflection. However the issue with the reflexive pattern of knowing is that it will only be relevant for a situation that has been resolved. If your were trying to analyze a situation that’s was ongoing you would have to incorporate parts of another reflective model to help you. With Johns model of structured reflection you would not have to use all the questions within the model, but you could also use the questions a number of times if appropriate. Gibbs Reflective Model is easier to be used by students as it t alks about getting a clear understanding the situations. It uses the six main Headings: Description, Feelings, Evaluation, Analysis, Conclusion and Action Plan.It uses these heading to gain a clear understanding of what went on, what was the experience like for the person, how they interpreted the situation, what they could have done and what they would do again if the situation arose again. Because there is no defined structure and no definite beginning or end, there is the advantage that if the person going through the reflection of their experience and they look back on it they can add more information to each section as and when they think of it, so they can go back or forward to one of the headings and add in the information into the specific field. For example if they feel they need to talk about their feeling first they can do that or if they feel they need to evaluate the situation or talk about what they would do again, and add their input to it, as they can go through the c ycle as many times as they need to get all the information down. Gibbs also talks about what would we do different if the situation arose again. They both put great emphasis on the feelings and the emotions of the person throughout the reflection process. They both talk about what happened and try to make sense of the situation. They both also talk about ConclusionTo conclude the theory that I will be choosing for my reflective practice at the end of year is, Gibbs Reflective Cycle. I have chosen this reflective model for a number of reasons. I believe that Gibbs reflective cycle is more aimed towards Student whereas Johns is aimed more towards health care and talks about working with patients and their families. Gibbs reflective model is also easier to interpret and I believe it to be easier to use to analyze any given situation with the main headings it uses to gain information about the situation the feelings of the person and the experience the person underwent during any given situation.I believe it is easier to follow than Johns model of structured reflection. Gibbs reflective cycle does not require the need of a supervisor to aid the reflection whereas; John’s model talks about have one present to go through the reflection process. I will be using Gibbs Reflective cycle as I feel that it is more relevant to myself and it is clearer to follow and would be easier to use for my reflection process.
